Presentations Made by Montville Township Committee

At the Jan. 2 reorganization meeting, the Montville Township Committee presented plaques to board and commission members who have served the township and now are retiring from their positions. Mayor Tim Braden expressed that it is such volunteers that help make Montville a great place to live.

"The Committee set out to revitalize our community," Braden said. With 185 volunteer positions in government and another twelve applicants, the Committee is fulfilling its goal.

Recipients of the recognition awards were:
  • Thomas Buraszeski from the Board of Adjustment
  • Mark Kantor, Board of Health
  • Gary Eisenhauer, Design Review Committee and Residents with Disabilities Advisory Committee
  • Victoria Vigil and Judith Rosen, Drug Awareness Municipal Alliance
  • Sergio Angione and Hugh Merritt, Environmental Commission
  • Kathy Fisher and Joanne Wickenheisser, Historic Preservation Review Commission
  • Ida Biase, Housing Committee
